With two bedrooms and two full bathrooms, this home is perfect for a couple or small family. The house is warm and cozy with hardwood floors, a fireplace and finishing touches such as crown molding throughout. The large leather sectional sofa in the living room provides plenty of space to relax in front of the flat-screen television or relax and read a book. Adjacent to the living room, guests will enjoy the remodeled kitchen with large granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The kitchen is fully furnished with all of the necessary culinary items for cooking at home. For outdoor dining, there is a small patio table in the enclosed front yard as well as a barbeque for grilling.
Each bedroom provides ample space for comfortable sleeping. The large master bedroom with a queen bed, sitting area, and ensuite bathroom also has access through French doors to the fully enclosed back garden with lawn. The yard is surrounded by a tall privacy hedge with Adirondack chairs on the lawn for enjoying a morning cup of coffee in the sunshine. The second bedroom also features a comfortable queen size bed.
Guests will also enjoy an indoor laundry room, as well as a long driveway that will accommodate two cars for off-street parking, a rare find downtown! An added surprise is the home gym in the garage with a wide array of exercise equipment and free nweights.

The house is in a really great location and is quite cozy! My husband LOVED the home gym! The staff was exceptionally helpful and attentive! Highly recommended!

Perfect home
Our month stay at the Downtown Charmer was delightful. The VROSB team was fabulous, so friendly, attentive and professional. When we mentioned the coffeemaker needed replacing, the property care supervisor came the next morning-on a Sunday-with a new coffeemaker!
The house was spacious with lovely details like floor to ceiling windows in the living room. Even though it was on a busy street, the tall hedge in front and little garden filled with palm trees by the front porch made it feel private. Our little dog enjoyed lounging in the sunny backyard.

Downtown Charmer
The Downtown Charmer is true to its name. Great kitchen, comfy living room, nice bedrooms with comfortable beds, sweet little grassed back garden, and very nice neighbors. We had a great month there. The street is on a bus route and definitely urban in town living.

We rented Downtown charmer for 5 weeks, and had a wonderful time. Great location to everything! We had a car, but walked most everywhere. The house was stocked with all the necessities and the kitchen was great for cooking meals. We would stay here again!!

Only wish we could have stayed longer
My wife and I decided to spend ~6 weeks in the area and stumbled upon Vacation Rentals of Santa Barbara. From start to finish, we had an excellent experience. The Downtown Charmer is the perfect home base to explore the area. It's truly 3-5 minutes' walk from the (pedestrian-only!) State St downtown area. The front and back yards are beautiful, green and well-maintained. The house itself is extremely comfortable, from the foam-topped mattresses to the big sectional sofa and dining area. Kay at VRSB was amazing. The heater stopped working while the temperature dropped in Santa Barbara, and she was over later the same afternoon with extra batteries to fix the thermostat. She also gave us some great pointers for exploring the area. We couldn't have asked for a better 6 weeks, and we only wish we could have stayed longer. We'll be back to Santa Barbara, and we'll be booking another home with VROSB.

Downtown Charmer
My wife and I, a retired couple, spent six weeks in the house last July and August. It was satisfactory in every way. The place was clean and airy, with ceiling fans and good ventilation. No AC needed, although the weather cooperated. Appliances were first-rate, parking was off-street and easy. The rental agency people were friendly and helpful. Best was the place’s convenience to Santa Barbara’s beaches, restaurants and shopping. Everything was just a short walk or easy drive away. We’d happily stay there again; in fact, we reupped. Fred

We'd happily stay here again
My wife and I spent five weeks in Downtown Charmer this year and enjoyed it thoroughly. The place is clean and airy, with first-rate appliances, and is wonderfully convenient to Santa Barbara's beaches, shopping, and restaurants. While it's on a busy street, there's off-street parking and gardens front and back ensure privacy. The rental agency's staff was pleasant and responsive.

Thank you so much for helping to make our transition to Santa Barbara so pleasant. The home is absolutely beautiful! The location is perfect. Its within easy walking distance of all the shops and restaurants on State St. and the fantastic Kids World playground.
