This property is located on the best part of Miramar Beach! Constructed of teak, mahogany and white spruce, accompanied by etched and stained glass windows, this unique cottage has been designed to look and feel like a well-built custom sailing vessel. The property consists of two separate one bedroom/one bathroom units joined by a connected stairway inside and a common entrance from the outside. The Upper Unit features a fireplace and larger enclosed deck. Relax and enjoy the amazing view as you listen to the sound of the surging waves. Let the waves lull you to sleep in a comfortable queen size bed. For your entertainment, this cozy cabin is also equipped with a television, cable TV and wifi. However, you will be too busy enjoying the outdoors! Just a few steps to the sand, where plenty of beach accessories await for your enjoyment—chairs, umbrellas, kayaks and boogie boards included.
When you are ready to enjoy a meal, a small kitchen provides all that you need for cooking or step up to the roof deck for your barbequing pleasure! (Deck is shared with lower unit). If eating out at great restaurants is more your style, Montecito’s lower Village is only a mile away and downtown Santa Barbara is a short 10 minute drive.
When flying into the area, the property is easily accessible from Santa Barbara Airport (only about 20 minutes away) and Los Angeles (90 miles south). The Boat House is truly a relaxing place to get away for it all! Come and escape to Miramar Beach!

This place was amazing and had so much character. The location was perfect to everything in Montecito and Santa Barbara. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed. Don't miss out by staying somewhere else! The communication from the management company was great. We will be back!

It was Perfect!!
I needed a place to stay for a retreat and decided to rent a beach house rather than stay at a hotel. The Boat House was adorable and cozy - right on the sand. You could sleep to the sound of the waves and drink your coffee as the sun rose over the surf.

Perfect Place!!
I love this place! Right on the sand, this tiny gem is more like a handmade boat than a house. Beautiful woodwork, special details, everything has been thought of by whomever built the space. It's a perfect spot for a getaway with everything you'd need for peace and quiet. Can't wait to go back!

I Loved it Here!
I loved it here. The small charming unit upstairs was clearly built by a woodworker in the 1950s & feels like a boat. Really well laid out with bespoke design that has lasted all these years. Although Miramar beach is crowded on the summer weekends you can take a walk anytime regardless of the tide. It’s heavenly to be right on the beach and have a view of the ocean from inside. There’s a unit downstairs and neighbors directly on either side so the deck is attached to other decks & therefore semi-private. Typical for beach houses in the area. This place is super special. I didn’t want to leave & can’t wait to go back!

Amazing Views!
My best friend and I stayed at this beautiful little home for a long weekend and it was a perfect getaway. From the location of the home that's close to plenty of restaurants and hikes, not to mention being literally on the beach to the comfort of the home and amenities, nothing was lacking. Enjoying that amazing view any time of the day was the highlight of the trip. Will go back here if I got the chance. Thanks for having us!

Breathtaking Ocean Views!
“The Boathouse” was delightful, with breathtaking ocean views and the sound of crashing waves. The beach was very walkable in both directions, North & South. Very cozy and small but perfect for two. My only suggestion would be to put a propane firepit on the upper rooftop deck where there is seating and a great gas BBQ. We can't wait to return. Thank you!!

The Location is Perfect!
We stayed here last year (Feb 2022) and loved it so much we decided to do it again this year. Can't say enough good things. The location is perfect, the rental is superb. Such craftsmanship, uniqueness, comfort. I love being able to sit on the couch on a cool night with the fireplace on and the doors open to hear and see the surf. Morning coffee on the deck while watching the sunrise is the best. We will be back again next year.

A Week In Paradise
We loved the property. It was perfect for our family vacation. Our kids were at the Santa Barbara Zoo camp all week and spent the afternoons in the ocean. We couldn't have found a better place for us.

Very thoughtfully recreated boat interior but anchored so you can just walk out to the beach and it is a great beach with long beautiful walks at low tide!

This is the Most Stunning Location!
This is the most stunning location- all we saw from the beautiful big windows is water because you are so close to the ocean! The unit is so artfully decorated with natural wood and great detail that makes it truly look like a boat. Size of unit is accurately described- just big enough for our family of 4 with 2 kids. Would definitely stay again!

We love this rental. The doors wide open to see and hear the ocean while the fireplace keeps you warm. Very cozy with everything you need. Comfortable bed and great shower. Rooftop deck with grill was an added bonus. We will return!!

What a beautiful spot. Perfect for two adults. Location is amazing, views are incredible. Easy to ignore the train and shared hallways When you focus on the sounds of the ocean instead. Comfortable space with a well equipped kitchen. We were sad to leave and will definitely be back.

Paradise!
We booked this property for three days over Valentines weekend. The property was everything we hoped for and more. Soon as we opened the door we were in love with it. The first thing that you see is the incredible view of the ocean. The decor is a lovely nautical theme with lots of rich dark wood. Go out the lower door and you step right on the beach. It was just perfect, so much so we inquired about staying an extra day. They were able to accommodate us and we enjoyed one more day of paradise

The Boat House (upper unit) was great. It's a very good vibe with beautiful views. The upper unit was perfect for 2 adults but could probably hold 3. The neighborhood is really quiet and beautiful. Would recommend the Boat House (upper unit) to anyone looking to have a peaceful relaxing get away.

The Upper Boat House was a true delight. I rented this for the Christmas Holiday and was joined by both of my adult children. The proximity to The Rosewood Resort was an added bonus, just a short walk from the house. The stretch of beach is ideal for a leisurely stroll. The house is comfortable and was stocked with everything we needed to make it a truly special stay.

Gorgeous spot right on the best beach
Gorgeous spot right on the best beach of Montecito, you can hear the waves, walk and enjoy the ocean and all Montecito has to offer. The bed is a little hard and uncomfortable if you have back issues, but you can see the ocean from your bed and you truly feel like you are on an old sailing vessel, I loved having a fire going and hearing the waves, it is very tranquil and magical! I shall return I hope!

This house is absolutely gorgeous
The pictures do not do the location and feel of the house justice. Functional kitchen with an incredibly cozy main room. Perfect fireplace for cooler evenings on the beach. The bedroom actually had a view through the unit to the ocean. Perfect location on Miramar beach. Could not have asked for better stay.
