PVH Corp., the parent company of Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein, has made two key executive appointments designed to bring the business into a new era of omnichannel growth and transformation.
To accelerate value creation for the Tommy Hilfiger North America business, PVH has hired Sophia Hwang-Judiesch as the President of Tommy Hilfiger North America. She will report directly to Stefan Larsson, CEO of PVH, when she takes the post on Jan. 8, 2024.
Hwang-Judiesch has had a successful retail career driving brand and market growth for omnichannel brands such as Carter’s Oshkosh, Esprit and Ulta Beauty. Most recently, she served as President of Hudson’s Bay, where she was responsible for the company’s Canada-based retail stores and drove its omnichannel optimization strategy. In her new role, she is tasked with unlocking the full potential of the Tommy Hilfiger business in North America, Larsson said in a statement.
“Sophia’s proven track record of driving profitable, omnichannel growth and enhancing the brand experience at every touch point will be critical as we get closer to consumers than ever before,” said Larsson in a statement. “With Sophia leading Tommy Hilfiger North America and Donald Kohler leading Calvin Klein North America, we now have the leadership strength in place for the North America unlock of both brands.”

At the corporate level, PVH has promoted Amba Subrahmanyam, who is currently Executive VP of People for PVH Americas and Calvin Klein Global, to the role of Chief People Officer. She will take the helm from Julie Fuller on Feb. 5, 2024.
Prior to PVH, Subrahmanyam held leadership roles at Coach, Tapestry and Tory Burch. She will tap into this expertise to “engage, empower and energize” the team as they work to execute the PVH+ Plan, the company’s multi-year strategic roadmap for driving brand, digital and direct-to-consumer growth, Subrahmanyam noted in a statement.
“Amba is one of the key leaders behind the transformation of Calvin Klein and the early unlock of our North America business,” Larsson said. “She is known for combining her strong people focus, deep industry knowledge and business acumen to help grow people and brands.
