Sustainable clothing brand Pangaia has teamed up with resale platform Archive to debut Pangaia ReWear, a peer-to-peer resale program that will enable one-click selling through an integration with Eon Digital IDs. The ReWear marketplace will initially launch in the UK with plans to expand to additional markets worldwide.
“Pangaia ReWear is more than just a resale platform,” said Pangaia Collective in a statement. “It is the first step toward our ultimate goal — the creation of a future where we are able to close the loop by creating a truly circular ecosystem for our apparel, powered by the industry’s leading technology companies — Archive and Eon. We are excited to make our ambitions a reality with our partners by our side.”
Pangaia and Eon initially partnered in 2021 to create digital IDs that link individual Pangaia products with a digital twin hosted in the cloud, enabling customers to scan their items to access product and environmental impact information and facilitate circular services. The digital IDs contain all the product details needed to streamline the resale experience on ReWear, including size, color, material and provenance. The digital IDs also give buyers an easy way to authenticate the pre-owned items they are purchasing through the resale platform.
To instantly upload a product for resale, Pangaia customers can scan the QR code printed on the item’s care label. The integrated Archive and Eon technologies then automatically fill in all the information needed to list the item on ReWear. If an item does not have an Eon Digital ID, the seller can still list it on the marketplace using a standard listing flow.

“Through our technology integration with Archive, we can bring automation to the customer resale experience and provide buyers with more confidence around the authenticity of their products,” said Natasha Franck, Founder and CEO of Eon in a statement. “This collaboration is another major step forward in driving transparency and circularity for Pangaia and the fashion industry at large.”
