Ebay is working to better support its sellers with a revamped advertising experience as well as a new Business Cash Advance offering that gives sellers quick access to revenue-based loans.
New Ebay Cash Advance Offers Sellers Fast Access to up to $1 Million
Ebay has launched a new Business Cash Advance offering, a revenue-based financing product that will give eligible U.S. Ebay sellers access to up to $1 million in working capital in as little as 24 hours. The new financing option, part of Ebay Seller Capital, is being offered in partnership with embedding finance platform Liberis.
“As a pioneer in ecommerce and the home to small businesses in more than 190 markets, Ebay understands the challenges small businesses encounter in securing fast, flexible and transparent financing,” said Avritti Khandurie Mittal, VP and General Manager of Global Payments and Financial Services at Ebay in a statement. “Ebay Seller Capital is aimed at fueling our sellers’ growth by providing them with tailored financing solutions that meet the unique needs of their businesses. The addition of Business Cash Advance to our suite of offerings in partnership with Liberis enables us to expand capital availability for our sellers on flexible terms when they need it the most.”
The online application process for sellers is designed to take less than three minutes and with pre-approved funding offers ranging from $500 to $1 million. Upon approval, funds will typically transfer in as little as 12 to 24 hours. Payment schedules will be designed to scale with the seller’s sales cycle, with no minimum payments and no early payment penalty. Sellers will be able to track their payment progress alongside their sales proceeds in the Ebay Seller Hub.

New Ebay Advertising Experience Leverages AI to Help Sellers Boost Sales
Ebay has redesigned its advertising experience to make the process of advertising on its platform more intuitive and data-driven, with renamed tools to make the offerings clearer and more closely aligned with sellers’ business needs.
Enhancements to the Ebay advertising experience include:
- A new advertising dashboard with personalized insights and more tools to provide sellers with a streamlined, all-in-one solution for tracking and optimizing ad campaign performance;
- New metrics to help sellers scale their growth, including daily, customized tips on how sellers can improve the effectiveness of existing campaigns, suggested campaigns based on historical data and Ebay best practices, and trend-based campaigns that leverage Ebay.ai to uncover emerging trends that sellers can leverage;
- Advertising insights to help sellers discover the latest news, research and product announcements from Ebay, including advertising tips, tricks and seasonal guidance; and
- Personalized recommendations and pop-up notifications to help sellers quickly understand what’s working and where to pivot so they can revise their ad strategies in real time.
The new dashboard features three clear advertising solutions: Promoted Listings (to promote specific products on Ebay), Promoted Offsite (to promote products outside of Ebay on channels like Google), and Promoted Stores (to drive visibility of sellers’ Ebay storefront).
“At Ebay Advertising, we are always exploring new ways to incorporate the latest technology and AI solutions to ensure that our offerings are the best they can be for our sellers,” said Alex Kazim, VP and General Manager of Global Advertising at Ebay in a statement. “We are also constantly engaging in conversations with our sellers, to learn about their journeys and how Ebay can continue to support their evolving needs. That’s why we’re so excited to launch the Ebay Advertising dashboard and streamlined advertising experience, as we know it will combine advanced AI with our sellers’ appetite for a simple yet highly effective way to grow their businesses.”
