Clairol and Glamsquad have partnered to offer free at-home hair-color appointments in four markets this summer: Los Angeles, Miami, NYC and Dallas-Ft. Worth. The two-hour Clairol House Calls will include a personalized hair-coloring session led by a Glamsquad professional, as well as a manicure and blowout to complete the makeover.
Consumers can select their hair color shade from a list of 15 SKUs, varying in shades and permanency levels, from across Clairol’s product collections. Customers can use this link to make appointments, available while supplies last.
“Through House Calls and our partnership with Glamsquad, we encourage experimentation and provide guidance on application and color matching, addressing a common barrier,” said Lori Pantel, Chief Marketing Officer at Wella Company North America, manufacturer of Clairol, in a statement. “Our partnership and content plan aim to reach our diverse consumers and build their confidence in incorporating box color into their at-home beauty routines.”
Clairol also has teamed with celebrity hairstylist Kim Kimble, who will share her insights into home hair coloring and dispel the concerns women may feel with this process. Additionally, the brand has recruited media personalities Rachel Lindsay, Tamsen Fadal and Anjelah Johnson-Reyes to address how they handle coloring and touch-ups amid their hectic schedules.

“Our clients are busy people. They can’t always make it to the salon for a root touch-up or single-process color, and they may not want to attempt it themselves at home,” said Gio Vaccaro, Co-founder of Glamsquad in a statement. “Over the years, we’ve consistently heard clients say, ‘If Glamsquad did at-home hair coloring, I’d give it a try.’ So we have partnered with award-winning hair color pioneer Clairol to make it a reality.”
